Having joined Weston from Team Bath in 2004, Ryan soon became the fans favourite with some great early season displays. Started at Plymouth Argyle as a youngster, Ryan made his professional debut at Torquay United (replacing the legendary Neville Southall). Has also represented Bath City, Woking and Yeovil Town. Appointed as the club’s Youth team coach in 2006/07 season and will continue his role this season. Undoubtedly one of the best goalkeepers in the Blue Square South; and has earned top reviews from both Plymouth Argyle manager Ian Holloway and Bristol City manager Gary Johnson following exceptional displays against both Coca Cola Championship sides in pre-season games Last season. Holds the record for the most appearances in Conference South by a Weston Player.

Charlie Comyn-Platt

Came to Weston in October 2007 having been released by Rochdale in July 2007.
Charlie is a left sided Central Defender who joined Rochdale, from Swindon Town with just 15 minutes of the January 2007 transfer window remaining.
Formerly with Bolton Wanderers' Academy, Charlie moved to Wiltshire in the Summer of 2005 having played just a handful of senior games during his time at the Reebok Stadium.
He made 27 appearances in his first season with the Robins and signed a new one year deal in July 2006. But Charlie hardly figured in Swindon's First team last season and was sent out on loan to Gray's Athletic.
Having signed an 18 month Contract at 'Spotland' home of Rochdale, Comyn-Platt didn't actual get any first team action apart from the odd appearance on the bench.

A firm favourite with Weston fans, Marc returned to the Woodspring Stadium in summer 2006 after a disappointing injury-interrupted season with Hinckley United. A natural goalscorer, Marc has previously played for Endsleigh, Forest Green Rovers, Nuneaton Borough (whom, he joined for £35,000) and Tamworth, and has played League football for both Notts County and Oxford United.

Re-Signed in March 2008 after being released by Eastleigh. Weston originally signed Ashan at the start of the 2007/08 after he was released by Swindon Town Holgate first came to the attention of Swindon fans with an impressive goal against Millwall F.C. during a friendly in 2004.
Holgate is an attacking midfielder who has featured in a handful of games for the first team including 2 starts against Colchester United and Swansea City during the 2005/06 season.
Holgate went out on work experience to Blue Square Premier side Salisbury City before returning and signing a new contract with the Robins. He then Went on a months loan to Newport County, but on his return he was sent out on loan at Macclesfield Town.

Played in Europe in June 2007 for Llanelli against Vetra. Has been training with Weston pre-season.

A quality acquisition for the Seagulls for whom a very bright future is predicted. Former Bristol Rovers academy player.
