POWELL SCREAMER SAVES THE DAY FOR THE SEAGULLS

A 90th minute Lewis Powell 20 yard screamer on 90 minutes saved the day for Weston tonight, at Blue Square (South) to gain a 1-1 draw at high-flyers Havant & Waterlooville. Weston played well throughout the game to deservedly earn a point tonight at Westleigh Park. Victory would have taken the home side into the Play Off positions. The Seagulls remain in the bottom three, on 36 points, and are just one point away behind both Maidenhead United (in 18th position) having played the same amount of games, and St Albans City (in 19th position - who have played one game more than Weston - 39 games). All eyes are now on the Seagulls huge game against Maidenhead United on Thursday night and all at Weston are hopeful of a huge crowd on the night to spur them to victory.
